Your Name

We are a support group based in Farnborough, Hampshire.

We formed in 2006 just after my daughter was born. My Health Visitor put me in touch with another new mum, from there we became 4 and a year on we have over 20 members.

Our Aims

Our aim is to bring people together to meet, share their stories and make life long friends. We are here to support each other and provide information to others such as advice on available benefits and services you are entitled to help with your child’s development.

We are not Medical professionals just a group of mums who through each other learn about the joys of children with Down Syndrome.

We want to raise awareness of Down Syndrome, and try and get rid of the stigma attached to it. 30 years ago there was a Stereo type, we need to make people aware that people with Down Syndrome are just that PEOPLE they have a name and a personality oh and by the way they have Down's, its not a bad thing.

"DON'T BE DOWN WITH DOWNS"
